Hello
If this is the back of the elbow it is most likely bursitis.
You can take advil until you see your doctor.
Sometimes this has to be drained....sometimes it can be infected.
There is a small sack in the back of the elbow that can collect fluid; this is probably what is going on.
Sometimes an antibiotic is needed.
This is not self help or home treatment.
