there. Thank you question. I will be helping you out with your queries
It is a gland that is located above the kidneys
It secretes a steroid called cortisol and also secretes aldosterone.
Yes, it says there is a new nodule in the adrenal gland now
So this means that the cancer is spreading and now has spread to the adrenal gland.
There is also a nodule in the lungs as well which is new
So all these things suggest that cancer is spreading unfortunately.
Are you with me?
Can u plz compare both as little confusing.
Adrenal node also in previous report , but this was not metastic. In new report is this the same one ?
Also old report does not mention lung nodules , but new reprint says upper lobe nodule remains umchanged .
This is a new nodule
in the left adrenal gland
Looking at this , Lowe lobe nodule
Is the only new one right?
New subpleural nodule in the left lower lobe is the new lesion
Along with a new nodule in the left adrenal
These are new lesions not present previously.
If u look on old ct report it said also there left adrenal nodule
Yes I did have a look
But this new report says "New nodule"
So it means that they saw the old one and this is a different one..
With the old
Yes new lesion with the o.d
It's in the same place left side plus previous one was not a met so it's not certain right if this a met?
It is certainly a mets considering your history.
Irinotecan was given 4 rounds but obv did not work, what can b done ?
Unfortunately very little can be done at this stage
The previous adrenal node was benign though in august .plus rafiologist has made a typing error saying liver lesions , there is 1 liver lesion
Can these b ablated ?
No these cannot be ablated
