there. Thank you question. I will be helping you out with your queries
I do not know why he did not mention the size.
Although the size should have been mentioend I agree
So I think that you should call the radiologist and discuss this with him.
He has mentioned the previous liver met and node has increased. oncolohist said only slightly but no mention in nodule sizes . If u see in the old report when the adrenal nodule was stated there was no size then too .
But in the old report he liver met and node had sizes. That adrenal node was a non met. Could it be these nodules are not mets so he's not measured them ?
Yes I agree, no size, which should have been mentioned in both cases
Could he have thought not important to measure ?
well, a radiologist cannot be sure if it is metastatic or not
If it is a PET scan that would be able to tell in a better way
Did you have a PET/ CT scan or normal CT scan?
Which u why the oncologist last time after meeting said te adrebal node not a met . Could they be too tiny that he did not measure ?
Ct with contrast
I think a pet can shed light exactly on what is a met and what's not right
A PET scan is meant kind of mets
This is so poor as we have not been even told what is met or not . We are just here assuming from the report and I've done medixla
I've done mesic
So bit knowledge I have
Is there diff between lesions and nodules ?
But is the nodules were mets would he not state... Suspicious of further mets ? As in the old report if u see, when he mentioned the node and liver lesion he said suspicious of metastases .
They did mention at the end of the report "disease progression".
They just wanted to write it in a way so that the patient does not understand and the doctor who is treating you understands and conveys the message to you rather than the radiologist doing so.
In your case lesion and nodules is the same thing.
yea it says that at bottom . But cpuld
But could disease progression mean the increase of the previous liver met and node?
Sizes were quoted in the old report but not the adrenal gland nodule .
Disease progression means increase in the number and/or size of the mets.
They may have not mentioned the exact sizes but they would have seen them
So they would know if they have increased in size or not.
But did not measure them reason.
Liver met n node has increased
Yes so that also means disease progression.
Could he thought not imp to mention size?
That's y im stuck. Meeting nxt week so won't know until then
Is were mets then surely a radiologist would mention size right ?
well, they are most likely mets
Even though the size was not mentioned these are most likely mets considering your history.
I would appreciate it if you rate me services when you are done asking.Kindest regards
Would a oncologist know by looking at the images. ?
