Dr. Shahzad MD :

there. Thank you question. I will be helping you out with your queries

Dr. Shahzad MD :

What makes you think that you have these serious diagnoses?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I mean what are your symptoms?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

please let me know.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

I feel really really spaced out, confused and just weak. Its been 6 weeks like this now

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Trust me, if you had a brain abscess you would not be here talking to me.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Brain abscess is something very serious with high grade fever and some neurological deficit you may experience weakness of some part of your body like a limp arm or leg etc.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Feel spaced out and confused does require further workup .

Dr. Shahzad MD :

You need a complete blood work up to have a look at your blood counts, your biochemical profile i.e. to look at various indicators to see how your liver and kidney are functioning.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Idont have those but when i read up it said they were symptoms

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Trust me you do not have a brain abscess.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

HIGHLY UNLIKELY indeed

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Ive had those bloods done and they were finr

Dr. Shahzad MD :

ok that is good

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Have you been under a lot of stress recently?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Do you have any other medical problems?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Are you on any medications currently?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

No not really and no other medical problems

Dr. Shahzad MD :

What is your age and gender?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Im 27 female

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Have you had your thyroid hormones checked in the blood test?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Yeh i had full blood count, thyroid, liver, kidneys, sugar lever done

Dr. Shahzad MD :

What kind of doctors have you been to ? Just your GP?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Yeh my gp

Dr. Shahzad MD :

What does he say is the most likely cause of your symptoms?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

They dont know which is frustrating

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Have you had some major changes in your life recently?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Or increased stress recently?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Or depression?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Im pregnant and due in a couple of months

Dr. Shahzad MD :

oh ok, so that could very well be the reason.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

spaciness?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Pregnancy in itself can cause such symptoms and these go away after delivery.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Yes

Dr. Shahzad MD :

and these changes are most likely hormonal

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Is there any possibility it could be a brain condition?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

No

Dr. Shahzad MD :

No possibility

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Your brain is fine.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

But thats where all my symptoms are. I feel like i cant function and everything around me looks weird

Dr. Shahzad MD :

There is nothing physically wrong with the brain, trust me, but the hormonal changes can cause such symptoms.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It may feel as though your symptoms are brain related but they are not.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

What would i be experiencing if it was the brain? Sorry im.just so sure this is a physical condition

Dr. Shahzad MD :

You would have a limp arm or a limp leg etc.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Or weakness or any part of the body, numbness etc.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

I feel numb in my head and feel like im.not here

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I understand but that is not something related to something in the brain.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It may have to do with chemicals in the brain but nothing like a tumor or an abscess etc.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

The best way to describe it is i feel like im either going to go unconscious at any minute or faint

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I understand, I am of the opinion that these are pregnancy related.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

And you should improve after your delivery.

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

So what would that be if its the chemicals?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Its similar to depression or anxiety that also happens due to chemical changes.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

So its kinda similar to that

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I think it should improve after delivery

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Can anxiety and depression make you really ill like this?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Yes

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It can

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Ive got until april till i have the baby. I cant live like this till then

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I understand.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It is a tough situation.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It would be well worth it consulting a psychiatrist.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

May be he/she can offer some help

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Its so so bad though im sitting in bed now and dont feel like im.going to survive the day its that bad

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I understand your situation

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

What if it is serious and im.dying

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I assure you it is nothing serious, had that been the case your doctors would have found something in the tests that you have had done.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

All your tests were normal

Dr. Shahzad MD :

So there is nothing serious.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

That is .

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Even if its to do with the brain? Would that have come up on tests?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Well, if it were a brain abscess, your white cell count would have been sky high on the blood counts

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Right so it would have shown up

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Ive felt like this weeks now would other symptoms be present if serious?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Yes surely

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

I just find it so hard to believe its nothing with how ill i feel

Dr. Shahzad MD :

i understand, I would have felt the same way.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Quite often we do feel very sick and all tests come back normal.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It is hard to believe but you are okay.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Trust me

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Can you promise me that and promise you are a real doctor?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Im just really scared

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I am a real doctor.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Our documents have been verified on this website.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

So you can be rest assured I am a real doctor

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

So if you were my doctor what would you suggest i do to feel better?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Well considering that you are pregnant I would suggest that you should just take some extra multivitamin pills. Something like centrum.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I would not start any tablets at the moment.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

However I would refer you to a psychiatrist .

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

What will centrum do?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

multivitamins are required in pregnancy and they may or may not help.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

But it is worth a try

Dr. Shahzad MD :

anymore questions?

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

Can you assure me i wont die?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Yes you will not die.You can be rest assured.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Had it been anything serious you would have already been in the heavens in six weeks time

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Anymore questions.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I would appreciate it if you rate me services by clicking on one of the smiley faces below.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

JACUSTOMER-5gmeydh2- :

What if its a slow acting illness?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Trust me it is nothing serious.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It is your anxiety and hypochondriasis that is getting the better of you.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I have got to go now, can you please rate me. I would appreciate that. Thank you.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Ive rated you now. Can you.answer question above

Expert:  Dr. SH replied 2 years ago.
I am sure its nothing serious because you would have had more symptoms than what you are having right now over a period of six weeks since you are having these symptoms.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

But it feels like the spaciness not there feeling is getting worse all the time. Does this not mean its progressing and could be something.

I cant even settle sitting on the sofa its that bad. I feel like i could die any minute

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

?

Expert:  Dr. SH replied 2 years ago.
Spaciness is not a sign of anything serious.
Its a sign of something psychological but nothing physical.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

If it was an abscess how long does it take to develop? I still think this is what it is

Expert:  Dr. SH replied 2 years ago.
It is not possible to be an abscess.
Brain abscess would almost certainly cause a fever and some neurological deficit like a limp arm or leg or reduced level of consciousness like you would be in a coma or a semicomatosed state.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I feel like im nearly unconscious all day. I also find it hard to describe how i feel so scared something is being missed?

Expert:  Dr. SH replied 2 years ago.
Nothing is being missed.
It is your anxiety that is getting the better of you.
Trust me.
