I have a brain tumor and been sezuire free ..until

Resolved Question:

I have a brain tumor and been sezuire free for 8yrs ..until last May I began to have a sezuire during my menstrual cycle every month since then ..I am on Levitiserum and Clobazam and still having break through sezuires ..My neurologist says he doesn't think there is a connection to my menstrual cycle ..but I think it does ..can you advise

have you tried to go on low dose estrogen birth control pills?

these could help regulate your hormones better and may prevent seizures.

what type of brain tumor do you have?

I do think it's connected to hormones it's a benign tumor slow growing but not grown in 10 yrs neurologist just isn't answering my questions when the pattern has been for 6 months just befor my period but most of the time it's during it . Thankyou

the most common benign brain tumor is a mengingioma.

ask your doctor or neurologist to go on a birth control pill regimen and see if that helps you regulate your female hormones better monthly and see if this helps prevent seizures.

keep taking the Levetiracetam and Clobazam
