Hello
How long are you having this dizziness?
Any other problem like nausea, vertigo?
Headache?
Any history of convulsion?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Its been about 7 weeks now and its there 24 hours a day. No nausea, vertigo or headaches and no convulsions or seizures

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

What you think? I feel quite spaced out aswell and just generally unwell. Its like im just not on the planet properly

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Thanks for your reply
You are only having with dizziness no other problem. It is very difficult or impossible to give single diagnosis as other are so many reasons for dizziness.
It may be due to inner ear infection, acoustic neuroma, hypo glycemia, hypo tension, heart block etc
I think you should have a general check up and some investigations to find the exact cause and treatment.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Its not really dizziness as such its more like being spaced out and not really there. Ive been to docs and they have given me check up and said cant find anything wrong.

Could it be serious?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Could it be a brain tumor?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
I think it is not due to brain tumor. It=f it is brain tumor there are also some associated problems like vertigo, headache or convulsion.
Still if a MRI or CT scan should done to give a total mental piece.
Thank you
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

My doctor has said theres nothing wrong and wont offer scan. What can i do?

Do you think im going to die?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Why you will die?
Never think in this way.
As you are so much concerned please ask your doctor to do a ct scan at least.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I just feel so terrible and im.scared..

Could i have a serious illness?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
I don't think so.
Thank you
Have a nice day
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Ive had blood tests for kidneys, thyroid, sugar, full blood count and liver. My blood pressure is fine and urine has been tested and is fine. What do you think are the possibilities?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Thanks ***** scan is left.
Please do it.
Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
hello?
Please give positive feedback if you are satisfied by my answer. If not please ask
I WILL TRY MY BEST TO SATISFY YOU.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Been to gp had urine tested, neurological exam, checked heart, lungs, eyes and eyes. Felt stomach, checked blood pressure all fine so says dont need scan. Does this mean im ok?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Thanks for your response
As all tests are normal I think you are ok.
But if you are still with your problem(dizziness) one CT scan should be done at least for mental peace.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Its not really dizzy its more spaced out and im convinced im dying. What do you think a ct scan would show? What kind of things could it be?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
I don't how much dizziness or vertigo you are having with.If it really produces problem in daily work one ct has to be done.I suspect vestibular schwoannoma tumor of acoustic nerve if at all.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

So i could have a tumour? Its not vertigo nothing spins. I just feel spaces out like im not here properly

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
If you are not having with any vertigo then you can avoid it.
Thank you. Any query please?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

So you dont think its a tumour? I havnt got any other symptoms.

What can it be if all tests are normal?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
No it should not be brain tumor.
As everything is normal only one thing to do.You should attend one psychiatrist.Panic psychosis sometimes produce such problem.I am not a psychiatrist so I can not provide more detail about it.Now it depends on you whether you rate me positive or not.If you don't give positive rate I will not be credited for my service.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I will give you a positive rating once finished just a couple of last things. So the only symptom i have is this spaced out not there feeling. General feeling of being unwell and jusy dont feel like i can do anything.
Can panic amd anxiety make you so ill 24 hours a day and its beem nearly 2 months now?
Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Thanks
This may persists for a long time like 6 to 12 months. But it should not felt continuously 24 hours.Like when you are involved in some particular job very seriously or during sleep you will feel it. In my opinion you can try some anxiolytic drug like alprazolam to see any improvement.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

It is continuously it never goes away and i feel so so ill?

What do you think it is as a doctor?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Can i get an answer please? Im happy with any expert?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Can i get an answer please? Im happy with any expert?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Relist: Incomplete answer. Id just like my last question answered and a little more detail if possIble

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Incomplete answer!
You are suffering from panic psychosis. Consult a psychiatrist.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

But it doesnt feel like im panicking. Ive never felt so ill how can there be nothing at all wrong physically??? How can all the tests be ok?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Hello
All diseases in human being are due to psycho somatic causes.Either it may be due to somatic or psychotic or both.In practice it is very often so difficult to diagnose whether it is somatic origin or psychiatric or psychosomatic disorder. When a patient comes to us with some problem we first consider it as a case of somatic disorder unless prove otherwise. But when we see no abnormal findings in any pathological test we have to consider it as a case of psychiatry.
I am not a psychiatrist and can not say exactly what type of mood disorder you suffering from.
Thank you again.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Ive just been to emergency room. They checked me over and found nothing wrong either. They did lots of tests. So do you think that means im physically fine?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Thanks
I think you are fine and physically fit.
Don't worry.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

they would have picked something up at hospital wouldnt they

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Thanks
Yes you are fine. Don't worry.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

They did loads of neuro tests and reflexes etc. They said they dont think i have any brain problems do you agree?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Sure
You must show some clinical signs if you have any neurological problem like brain tumor.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

SO I shOUld accept that i am OK?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Yes
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Finally... what sort of neurological problem would be present if tumor or brain disease?

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
Thanks
Symptoms are like headache, vertigo, dizziness, blurring of vision, convulsion etc
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Well i have the dizziness and spaced out feeling but they checked me over and said nothing wrong???

Expert:  dr prabir kumar das replied 1 year ago.
If nothing wrong as per all tests and physical examination means you are ok.
For your feeling of dizziness you have to attend a psychiatrist and I think this feeling will go out when you will accept the psychological treatment. The feeling you are having with not originated from any somatic cause but a mental problem and so every tests are normal.
Thank you
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
