Hi--have you had a doctor's evaluation for the back and rib pain?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
My doctor hasn't a clue and just wants to. Give me pain killers
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
OK Samuel--does the back pain radiate around the course of your ribs toward the front?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes it does and gives me feeling I have to pass urine
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
OK Samuel--so just to check here--your doctor hasn't run any tests like a urinalysis or an MRI of your spine?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes Mri scan results negative. Urinary check. Negative
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
And did your doctor to a digital--finger in the rectum--prostate exam?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes. I went through turp operation in 2011. Prostate was paired like an apple.this past 6 mths I've had this terrible feeling at ribs and urge to pee. Doctor has checked my urine and everything is clear.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
Sorry for the questions but what part of your spine had the MRI and are you saying it was totally normal?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Whole spine. Just a bit of wear and tear they said around lumbar region
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
One last question Samuel--your doctor has no thoughts at all about what's causing the pain?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Not a clue and couldn't care less. I feel so suicidal
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
I understand Samuel. All I can do here is give you my thoughts but the possibilities here are a prostate infection even with the normal urinalysis or otherwise perhaps a penetrating peptic ulcer. I personally would perform upper endoscopy on you and I would give you a two to for week course of Septra to see if that took care of the problem
