Dear Doctor I am very worried about catching HIV, and today

Resolved Question:

Dear Doctor
I am very worried about catching HIV, and today when taking my puppy for a walk, we walk passed some spots of blood, I do not know how long it had been there or whether it was human or animal, it was in the main high street. My puppy keeps jumping up and his claws are sharp and they scatch me, he did this during the walk and jumped up at my back and scratched me and drew blood, I don't know how long after this was when we walked past the blood, can I catch HIV?
I know this sounds odd, but I have had Thyroid Cancer and recently Breast Cancer, and I have had a scan recently had a scan on lumps that have appeared on my thighs, but the hospital has lost the results and 25 years of my records. I am so worried about everything and I need reassurance about everything medical, because I was misdiagnosed with my Thyroid Cancer and after a negative mammogram found two lumps in my Breasts after! Please can you help me with this HIV concern.
