Customer Question

I have a couple of strange lumps in the back/side of my mouth. I'm going to upload the photos now, could you take a look please?
I should add the lumps are painless and definitely not mouth ulcers.

The lumps are to the left side in front of the tonsil area, the look like bubbles or blisters. There are also lots of little white tiny spots further back, but I think they're just tonsil related, right?
It's the larger bubble like painless lumps which concerned me. Thanks

Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your queries.
What you are having are called as mucoceles.
These are harmless and represent blocked salivary gland ducts.
There are tiny salivary glands all over in the mouth which can be blocked or can be broken due to trauma when chewing and can cause these to be formed.
So all in all, nothing to worry about.
Most mucoceles will go away on their own after they burst.
