1 - 2 a week
Thanks. And how long have you had this routine for>
Several years, gets worse.
What have you already tried to treat your constipation?
Fibagel, Lactulose (recently), fibrous foods.
Okay. When you do pass stools, are they hard and pellet like or are they bulky and in large quantities?
Hard and pellet.
Here is a regimen I frequently advise my patients and it benefits them.
I would suggest that you shift entirely on high fiber foods. Dried fruits and nuts, green leafy vegetables, unrefined cereals, prunes, plums (dried or fresh), avocados, whole grain, bran, meats with salad and berries etc.
A water intake of at least 3 liters per day.
Add two table spoons of metamucil (psyllium husk) thrice a day in food, water or milk, everyday.
Take the lactulose, at least 20 ml twice a day.
Nothing received. Terminate whole exercise for one payment of £24.00. Nothing more to be done. Over and out, please confirm. Thanks
And lastly, use glycerine suppositories 3 at a time, inserted one after the other in the morning when you feel like you need to pass a bowel movement.
