My husband is on a very strong pain killer at the moment slow

Resolved Question:

My husband is on a very strong pain killer at the moment slow release oxycodene twice a day. It does help the pain but he is constantly feeling very nauseous and is occasionally sick. Is there any homeopathic remedy he could take to ease the nausea and sickness.

Hello
I am a double board certified doctor and a classical homeopath.
It depends on what you mean by homeopathic.
Many people do not understand what homeopathy is.
What are you referring to?

OK
I have not heard back from you.
I am going to assume that you understand that homeopathy involves the use of a single, ultra high dilution substance: one remedy at a time. WE have well over 2000 remedies, and they must generally be individualized.
Some remedies are very specific to a situation.
Nausea from opiates is specific to chamomilla.
This can be used safely at a 30C potency up to 3 times a day for a couple days.
However, if the nausea is still a problem, a higher potency or different remedy will be required..and that is where he needs a homeopath hands on.
His medical doctor must rule out other causes of the nausea, such as ulcer and gastritis.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
