I do not think that the radiologist could have missed it and even if he did miss it, it is not possible for the oncologist to know he missed it because an oncologist is not a radiologist.

If the radiologist said there wasn't any peritoneal spread I would go with his word and not the oncologist's word.

incresss in liver lesion

increase in node

new sub pleural nodule

does any of this indicate peritonial diaease to u ?

but in oncologist letter to gp he says .... Possible peritoneal disease

aortocaval means near the aorta and inferior vena cava which are the large vessels in the abdomen.
Retroperitoneal means behind the intestines and peritoneum which is the covering of the intestine.
Yes retroperitoneal lymph nodes means aortocaval lymph nodes along with other groups of lymph nodes that are behind the peritoneum.
