, I'm on the pill and have just gotten a job on a cruise

Customer Question

Hello, I'm on the pill and have just gotten a job on a cruise ship travelling back and fourth almost daily through different timezones all over the world. I know that you need to take the pill at the same time every day but how do I do this when I'm never going to be in the same time zone for more than 2 days?
Thank You.

Dr. David :

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

you don't have to take the pill at exactly the same day every day.

Dr. David :

as long as you take it daily and close to the same time. it can even be within 6 hours.

Dr. David :

so if your routine is to wake up and take the pill when you first wake up, then you can do that every day.

Dr. David :

and if you wake up at slightly different times each day, that is fine.

Dr. David :

let me know if you have questions.

JACUSTOMER-p0h2rsk4- :

Thank you, ***** ***** very helpful.
My first time zone change is 8 hours difference then usually an hour ahead every 2 days, would it still be safe to carry on taking the pill as i wake up every morning ?

Dr. David :

yes, it will be fine to continue to take it first thing in the morning.

Dr. David :

your body hormone levels adjust as you enter into new time zones.

Dr. David :

your AM cortisol levels adjust

Dr. David :

and your female hormone levels will adjust as well

Dr. David :

most important thing is to take the pills daily

Dr. David :

and so if you wake up first thing and take it and don't forget, that would be best.

Dr. David :

good luck on the cruise ship.

Dr. David :

let me know if you have other questions.

Dr. David :

if done, please leave positive feedback below.

Dr. David :

we only get credit for helping clients after positive feedback.

Dr. David :

thanks.
