Expert:  DrRussMD replied 2 years ago.
YOu need a diagnosis.
If this is bronchospasm, you need an inhaler
Have you seen your doctor?
Do you have a diagnosis?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

yes i have an inhaler but not used it for over a year .. is it still safe to use

Expert:  DrRussMD replied 2 years ago.
No
It won't hurt, but will not necessarily be effective.
Why have you not called your prescribing doctor?
What was your initial diagnosis?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

this is the 2nd attack i have had in 3 days .. nothing before that so just thought it was just one off 1st time thats why i have not seen my dr .. reason i was given inhaler was having trouble with breathing ..

OK
You need a diagnosis.
You need a new inhaler.
This could be acid reflux causing this , for example, an inhaler won't help.
It could be a lung or heart problem.
So, go get an exam.
Talk with your doctor.
Renew your meds.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
