Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
Hi. First can you tell me the values of all the liver enzymes?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Was 75 before , 3 weeks ago and now 175,metastic colon cancer person

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
What about the other liver enzymes?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

They seem to be normal so far the others .

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.
OK. Elevated ALP alone doesn't indicate liver failure especially if the other liver enzymes are normal. It does indicate a problem, though. It may indicate that there's a partial obstruction of the common bile duct from a gall stone
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

He's just started oxyplatin and raltitrexed 3 weeks ago and we noticed this after ?

could the liver mets cause bowel

obstruction ?

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 2 years ago.

No, not bowel obstruction but the mets could obstruct some of the bile ducts
