Customer Question

Anxiety attack. Hi mate anxiety mark here
Just can't stop focusing on negatives tonight. My friend. Worrying about my WBC again even though you and Dr love have said its fine.
And my tension headache. That comes from neck. Help !
Submitted: 1 year ago.
Category: Medical
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
What are you telling yourself about your WBC Mark? And you're still obsessing about the headache?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I think I'm just under a bit of stress mate and the gremlin is in the room. !
A bit of reassurance helps from your good self.
WBC oh you know it's 3.6 always is. Dr love and you said the same as my doc all good the individual parts are all low so it's low normal I heal fast no prob. But I googled it !!!!!
The headache comes and goes mild but annoying.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
OK--naughty boy--what did Dr Google tell you?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
That 4 to 10 is normal. !
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok yes my doc said 3 to 10 was normal and even there is research that says low normal was recorded on people that lived 5 years longer on average than high normal. He sent me a link.
I'm guessing I have mental illness not physical and such is hard to treat.
Also my head going forward hurts my neck when I have the band headache and it didn't stop me doing anything
Just feel a bit low is that normal for everybody ? Usually I'm full of it !
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
A bit low?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Feeling down I guess miserable
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
So how exactly can I help you with this my friend?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Just after all the tests you have results for that physically I'm good. ??
I that in turn will help me stop feeling down.
Work is full on I'm guessing that's driving the health anxiety
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Absolutely no problem with your WBC my friend and everything else you've ever told me makes me absolutely certain that physically you're in perfect shape. Remember to stop and smell the roses when it comes to work.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Good point.
Can work ie contracts finance design. Cause physical manifestations ?
Ie I've had ct full abdomen and pelvis two ultrasounds on liver and organs 12 blood counts all they found was some fat on liver which is now gone !!
And I was over weight now my bmi is 23.8.
But I get its and tension headaches
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

Sure--anxiety can cause a lot of physical symptoms including your headaches

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Chill rest assured I'm ok ?
Get back on the treadmill of making money and life ????
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

The treadmill is fine my friend, unless you listen to The Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland

“My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.”

I've run twice as fast. !! And done ok
How do you do it in your job stay calm.
Anyway I've done well financially but has it been at the cost of this anxiety gremlin !!
I'm ok though yea ???
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
You're fine my friend. As for me, I adhere to the philosphy that if one bites the head off a live toad first thing in the morning the rest of the day is downhill
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Might need to check in with you soon thanks feel better
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Ring me up any time Mark
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Feel fine ! Headache is going !!!
Neck not so stiff !! Plenty of energy. !!!
Tension is a horrible thing then my friend ??
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Not horrible but certainly bothersome Mark
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
As you know my prob is logical thought
I've had tension headaches for 15 years they last a fair while then go for ages. But I still think the worse every damn time. Despite scans and bloods.
Guess talk to you first each time may help ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
I certainly would like you to get in touch with me each time my friend.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I shall then we may reduce the time they take to go ?
Something new when I was driving today put my head forward load crack in my neck some sharp pain then the headache eased all afternoon. Connected ?
When I drop my head it pulls on bs k of head.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Actually you bypassed a chiropractor and did a self-adjustment on your neck--just got it back into proper alignment

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Really ? Wow.
So it's the neck not the head ? Running to much?
And By the way il leave a good bonus on this page as way of payment.
Can the neck cause the pain at the front as well into the nose area. ?
And finally.
The fact it's gone and comes back mild means it's not serious coupled with my cat brain scan in nov all perfect. Clear.
And to finish. 190 pounds 6 ft 2 tall is that now a good bmi !??
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

Neck muscle spasms cause tension headaches Mark and those can be anywhere from the back of the head to the forehead and anywhere in between

Simple tension headache and nothing at all serious

That's a BMI of 24.4--excellent

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Bet yours is better. .lol
I've left a second payment mate. Speak soon
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

Mine's 21.6 mate.

Thanks and take care

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm ok ?? All good ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
All good mate
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi mate. Well here's a one
The headache has turned into a mild scalp ache ! With tiny surface pains in neck and scalp
I'm guessing it's as you said a scalp muscle issue ie tension. ?
It's been like this before many times !! Damn thing.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Sorry Mark--I was off. Where exactly is this located?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Tiny surface pains in the forehead and scalp and neck. Mate
Something I think is reassuring is that if I use a thing called forehead it's a product that gives a freezing sensation when applied replaces the pain.
I'm guessing that means it's outside the scull ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
What part of the scalp Mark.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Neck and front mainly sides both sides band like.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

That's all consistent with a tension headache Mark. And yes it has to do with neck muscle tension pulling on the scalp muscles that attach at the back of your head to the neck muscles

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The fact every time I get these it goes to a scalp mild pain. Is the blood flow returning. ?
And why do the last so long each time. Ie months then go
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
No, it does have anything to do either with extra or lack of blood flow Mark. As for the way they hit you--really hard to say. Probably the stress cramps your neck muscles and starts the headache and then your worrying about it creates a viscious circle of more muscle tightness and more pain
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I agree. .
First one. 15 years ago lasted months. Then went since then I get a combo as you know ibs or tension headache.
Guess I'm screwed my friend.
My doc says the anxiety moves from muscle groups ie bowel and neck head. Do you agree ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Not screwed my friend--maybe a loose screw though. And IBS can definitely be aggravated or kick off at times from stress
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
But with the fact it's been in and off as always now for a while hasn't got worse my mind is sharp no other symptoms.
Means it's simply a tension headache that I've had for years on and off ?
Oohhhhh and the cat brain scan in November being clear ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
The description is spot on for a tension headache Mark--I'm absolutely certain that's what it is. The ct just proved it wasn't a brain tumor and that wouldn't come and go like you describe
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
After 5 weeks I'm guessing it would have me in hospital !?
Thanks again. Mate I hope it goes soon but I'm guessing it won't for a while.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Yes either a brain tumor or an aneurysm would definitely have landed you in hospital and again--promise you here--this is a simple tension headache problem.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Maybe we could go on a camping trip. Sit by the fire like Captain Kirk and spook did and put the world to rights.
Would not that be great. My friend. Il bring the vintage Chianti.
My guess is we will both keep treading the mill faster and faster to Achieve the success fir our families that would probably rather see us by the camp fire.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

I have been, and always shall be, your friend.

Live long and prosper

Don't insult me by saying you think I might be partly human

No one lying in the coffin in the ground ever says, "I should have spent more time at the office."

Or, as Mephistpheles replied to Dr Faustus in Christopher Marlowe's play, when Faustus asked him why he was out of Hell and on Earth talking to Faustus, "Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."

Here endeth the philosopy lesson

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I take a lesson from the clever one
But the trip sitting with an interesting intelligent person as yourself
I think would be fun making money for me has been easier than understanding my health.
Guess we are all have our crosses.
But for this issue it's not serious forget it ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

Oh, would that you could forget it since it is nothing serious.

Methought I heard a voice cry, “Sleep no more!
Macbeth does murder sleep”—the innocent sleep,
Sleep that knits up the raveled sleave of care,
The death of each day’s life, sore labor’s bath,
Balm of hurt minds, great nature’s second course,
Chief nourisher in life’s feast.

Interchange the word Macbeth with Anxiety
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
You know I can't forget it I'm anxiety
But the one thing that gets through to over testing health anxiety sufferers is a voice from an expert.
We love scans and blood counts as they analyse intricate issues.
But most good docs I speak to like to diagnose the person
On the back of that. I'm guessing ignore it will reduce its time cycle. ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

If I didn't mention it to you before--Conan Doyle was an ophthalmologist and Sherlock Holmes was based on a Professor of Medicine of his who supposedly could just sit down and talk to and observe a patient and make a correct diagnosis with no hands on.

If you could either ignore it or stop worrying about it it should take a shorter course

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Just designing something and I came across my 28/01/2015 blood counts.
You are right my WBC does raise up and down
This reads wbc. 4.2
Lymposites 1.3
Monocytes ,.46
Neutrophils 2.18
So what you are saying is when there's no fighting to do it sits at that 3.6 all the time ?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

Those numbers are fine Mark

Didn't quite understand your last sentence?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

ohh sorry mate I mean when theres no infection present or healing it sits at the 3.6

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Well infections always raise it a bit but nothing to worry about with the 3.6
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

no I mean I was worried about it at 3.6 being a bit low to sit but as you said it does rise if needed as this blood test I found reveals 4.2 my friend ! huraaah !

headache is eased off now thank god bloody thing very mild but annoying .

you reviewd my last bloods which you have none needed now till summer ?

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
I really wouldn't get any more bloods on you for a year my friend but, of course, I'm not your doctor
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

your advice is always fully taken as well as my doc

your happy the liver will stay as is ? its been fine for a year now on alt and ast ,

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Your liver will be fine from here on out Mark
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I need to ask you another question tonight re my wife so il post in at ten uk

so wbc fine ? headache poxy tension only ???

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

There's no reason to say otherwise unless you get off your diet, gain weight, and drink like a fish.

The WBC is fine and absolutely sure the headaches are just tension headaches

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

speak tonight my friend

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.
Make it a fresh page please Mark
