I'm recording my blood pressure morning and night and have noticed a completely different reading 147/73 pulse 71 a.m. and 107/53 pulse 57.

This is not uncommon at all.
However the good news is that both are controlled. The goal BP based on the most current guidelines is 150/90 above age 60.
That being said if you are taking multiple meds you may want to stagger them throughout the day
for example furosemide in the AM and atenolol at night
