What does Tsh stand for Is it blood count?

Expert:  Dr. Das, MD replied 2 years ago.
Yes, TSH means the level of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in your blood.
Headaches while on the thyroxine usually means that the thyroxine hormone is not adequate. If you have been on the thyroxine since you were 52 and you are beginning to get headaches, it is likely that you are beginning to get hypothyroid again and your requirement for thyroxine has increased.
If you have not had your TSH levels checked in the last one year, please get it checked as early as possible.
