I am deaf and I live alone. I am independent but sometimes

Resolved Question:

I am deaf and I live alone. I am independent but sometimes I do need help. Is there a forum or organisation dedicated to deaf people helping each other? I feel I could offer a lot in return for the few occasions I need help myself.

Hi. Welcome to JustAnswer. I shall try my best to assist you while you are corresponding with me.
Yes, in fact there are a lot of organizations that help deaf individuals and also forums and organizations that always need volunteer members to take part in various campaigns they hold out.
Here is one link:
http://www.nadp.org.uk/what-we-do/
This is for the National Association of Deafened People (NADP).
Let me know if this helps.

Thank you. I have tried on a few occasions to join them. Their on-line joining form is a joke which take you around in circles for a few hours. Do you know of any others?

Yes, there are others like:
The British Deaf Association:
http://www.bda.org.uk/
And
They also have a "Deaf Directory" on their website which can link you to other organizations and campaigns of the sort.
Also try:
http://www.ndcs.org.uk/
This is the website for National Deaf Children Society.

And:
