Hi. First off, do you have any medical conditions or take any medications?

Is the swelling constant? Any pain or skin color change with it?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Yes going darker Cannot get normal shoes on

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

OK Lorraine but what about any other medical conditions you have?

And is there any pain associated with this?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I have a lung condition like bronchietosis diagnosed in the 90s also some sort of colitis. I have a lot of varicous veins. A horse stood on my foot in the early 90s

Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 1 year ago.

OK Lorraine. We can certainly continue after this if you'd like.

All I can do is give you possibilities here but you need to have your doctor check this out.

Most likely this is what's called incompetent venous valves in the leg veins--the valves let the blood pool in your legs and the extra pressure lets the serum seep out into the tissues

That said, there are other possibilities--liver or kidney disorders, congestive heart failure, and excess sodium in your system so you need an exam and some blood work to see what exactly is going on here

Thanks for that I will rate you in a minute. Could your answer explain an increase of fat around my middle. Feel ill when I have half a bottle of fruit cider (hangover next day). Feel sick most morning goes when I eat.

Well, that sounds like what's called metabolic syndrome which is also known as pre-diabetes. It sounds like a problem with both low and high blood sugar
