Customer Question

I had a Stroke (Brain stem bleed) almost 4 years ago. I was 50.
I can weight-bear, but not walk (balance and ataxia combined!) and have a lot of (comparative) controllable movement in my paretic arm and leg.
I mentioned Botox treatment to my GP, and she has now referred me to a Neurologist

botox injections can help some patients who have muscle spasticity or uncontrolability after a stroke.

injection some of your muscles with botox could help them relax more so your nerves are better able to control your arms and legs which could help you do more in function.
