Resolved Question:

Sometimes when I wake up, usually upon turning my head I have a brief very mild 'burning' or acidic feeling in the back right of my head. I've had this for a long time but I've never really worried about it.

Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your queries.
This is not something that I would worry about too much at all.
This does not indicate any specific disease process or anything serious.
Upon turning the head a nerve in your neck may be slightly irritated causing these symptoms.
These symptoms can happen due to a nerve misfiring or being pinched or irritated.
Again, this is not something serious or anything to worry about.
If you want to be sure you can request MRI your your neck spine to have a look at the bones and discs of your neck spine to make sure they are not pressing on any nerve which may potentially be the cause of your symptoms.
Let me know if you have more questions.
