I am 33 and experiencing hot flushes at night and early morning,

Resolved Question:

I am 33 and experiencing hot flushes at night and early morning, not during the day. And in recent days I have a sore neck. I am not sure if the neck pain in muscular or if the two symptoms are related in any way?

Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your queries.
Can you please answer a few more questions for me.
How are your periods?
Do you have any sweating associated with your hot flashes?
Is the neck area tender to touch?
Do you have any other medical problems?
Are you on any medications?
Please let me know.

My periods are regular since having a baby 7 months ago. My neck is not tender to touch. It's painful to move my neck in certain directions. I am otherwise we'll with no medical conditions and am not taking any medication. Thank you.

The most common cause of hot flashes is due to hormonal changes in the body.
The most commonly seen hormonal changes in ladies is estrogen and progesterone fluctuations.
Another hormone that is very important and that needs to tested is thyroid hormone levels.
Raised thyroid hormone levels can cause hot flashes as well.
All in all, this does not seem likely to be anything serious but something that does require further investigation.
