This is Dr. David

Zuclopenthixol is not approved for use in the United States

so you can not ask for it to be made in the USA

in the USA thiothixene is a similar medication, but you need a US doctor prescription for it

let me know if you have questions.

I am sorry for the confusion: i am asking if a US MD can do an injection with Zuclopenthixol the patient is bringing into the USA on holiday.
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
it can be hard to find a doctor to do an injection for you.

you might have to find a nurse who will do an injection for you.

most doctors at hospitals or emergency room doctors will not be willing to do an injection of a medication they don't know.

but you can bring in the medication to the hospital or ER and see if a doctor or nurse there would be willing to help you with an injection

they may do it off the books to help you if you are on vacation or holiday.

are you not in the USA yet?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No I am not in the USA. I was thinking on a request to change medication in my home country to be able to visit USA for vacation, since I have to take injections of the drug every 14 days.
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
I see.

you can talk to your doctor about it

your can take a holiday for less than 14 days

or ask your doctor to change your medication.

or you can learn how to give yourself the injections.
