I have a persisent pain in my penis and have been to my gp done all the usual tests bloods urine STI test all came back clear but this pain is driving me crazy As the day goes on it gets worse and strange thing when sitting in the bath or lying in bed no pain

No burning on urination?

Did you have a urinalysis and a digital (finger in the rectum) prostate exam?

No It seems to be just at the tip and yes had prostate test and ultra sound all negetive

I am taking sleeping tablets at night and am constantly tired also

And no redness to your penis? Did you have a urethral swab for cultures?

No redness just a niggling pain did not have swab but did have urine test for sti came back neg.

You need the swab to check for chlamydia and trichomonas

If it isn't that, you need a ct of the abdomen to check for bladder or kidney stones

Finally, this could be a prostate infection even with negatives on all you've had so far, so I would consider putting you on a course of Septra DS twice a day for six weeks
