Resolved Question:

I started my period today and am having extreme pain in my thighs and numbness to the extent they feel to weak to walk. I have always had very painful periods but nothing like this before. I had my tubes tied last month and this is the first period since. are they connected?

Hi.
No, this wouldn't be related to your period
These symptoms may indicate a lumbar spine disk problem, a magnesium or B12 deficiency, a low thyroid problem, or perhaps an autoimmune neuropathy problem
You need to see a doctor right away for an exam, blood work, and perhaps an MRI of your lumbar spine to sort out the cause
