You asked me to help you but I'm not sure what your question is here?

I am sorry, but I don't understand which part of my question you are not sure? My son has a tonsillitis and I need some homeopathic remedy.

Hi there,
Welcome to Justanswer! I am Dr. Hoellering and pleased to help out.
There are two possible rasons for the condition of your son: A bacterial tonsillitis caused by bacteria which are resistent against the applied antibiotic. The other is mononucleosis (kissing disease), a condition caused by a virus and therefore not getting better with antibiotic therapy (viruses are not affected by antibiotics). Please talk to your doctor again. Maybe he will do the blood work on you, so you both will know. Mononucleosis is quite contagious.
Acotinum napellus 12D or 12X is helpful when the tonsils are swollen and red and your son likes to drink cold fluids but not to eat, and in case of fever (5 tablets/drops every two hours).
I wish him a soon recovery!
