Customer Question

Hi.I have just had had 2 embryo's transferred on Sat 22nd August. My question is masturbating without orgasm bad? Does it contract your uterus in the same way an orgasm does? Whilst thinking of this last night I felt my muscles down there clench (definitely not an orgasm) a little like when stopping having wee.please could you advise as worried might have lessened my chances. Many Thanks

Hi. There's no reason for worry here for two reasons--

First off even with orgasm there really isn't any risk for dislodging the embryos from your utering lining.

Second, you didn't have an orgasm anyway

Let me know if you need any more information please

Thank you. Can I just check that the sensation like stopping a wee mid flow or at the end would not do any harm to the uterus.sorry just so I am clear.

That wouldn't cause any problem either Carolyn--even women with a normal pregnancy--not in vitro like yours--wouldn't harm that prenancy with sex or masturbation or with having the sensation you mentioned

Sorry--not quite sure what caroming sensations means?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry meant cramping

OK. No, the cramping feeling isn't a sign that anything's wrong Carolyn
