Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your concerns today.
I am sorry to hear about your problem.
What were his symptoms?
Do you have his imaging studies like MRI or CT scan results? What do they say?
How is he doing now?
Please let me know.
Kind regards

It is very difficult to say what kind of brain tumor it was.
There are two kinds of brain tumors i.e. benign (harmless) and malignant (cancer).
It is only after the biopsy reports come back that we can be sure.
But from what you are telling me, he is doing really good actually.
The headaches usually do take a few months to go away completely as that is the time it takes for complete healing to take place.
I would strongly recommend that he follow up closely with his doctor.
I am sure they must be working on the results and these results do take sometime to come back at times.

At his age unfortunately there are good chances that this may be a cancer of the brain. The most common brain tumor at his age is called as glioblastoma multiforme which is a cancerous tumor in the brain.
