I have had a seizure in my sleep last night. I've not had a seizure whilst awake for at least 5 years. Am I still ok to drive?

Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your concerns today.
I am sorry to hear about your problem.
Unfortunately you are only allowed to drive if you have had a seizure-free interval for a period of 12 months.
Since you only had a seizure last night, you are not ok to drive as far as I am concerned.
You should consult your GP and/or the driving license authority in your area for further clarification on this.
