I have been feeling unwell time and had symptoms

Customer Question

Hi, I have been feeling unwell for some time and had symptoms of exhaustion, confusion, dizziness, chest pain, passing out, tingling fingers, shortness of breath.
My gp run blood tests and said they were normal, however I believe that I may be b12 deficient as well as folate, my levels were 313 for serum b12 and 25 for folate assay.
I have seen a naurologist who says it is not a neurological problem and I am at a loss of what to do next?

Hi and thanks for query,You should get your thyroid profile and should get consultation from a cardiologist to rule out any arrhythmia. If everything comes out to be normal, these can be symptoms of panic attacks due to anxiety.Let me know if you have further questions. Please do leave a positive rating by clicking on stars on top right corner.Wish you good health.

HelloTo answer your question, this is not B12 defiiciency. The symptoms are vague and the possible list is long, expecially with the passing out.a. Autonomic dysfnction: a tilt table test is needed. This I see as most likely the missed diagnosis. It is when the involuntary nervous system does not work.c. Heart problems. Not likely. A 48 hour holter monitor should be done.d. Brain problems such as seizure. This can not be ruled out well without EEG.e. Autoimmune disease/spinal disease.f. Fibromyalgia with autonomic dysfunciton. A complete structural exam is needed. Labs should includedAll routine labs and urinalysis.Thyroid studiesAdrenal panelANA panel and sed rateCPK.I am a double board ceritified clinical doctor.Let me know if you have more questions. Please click a positive rating.
