I had really bad ear ache last night and now I seem to have blood dripping (slowly) from the ear in question. Should I go to a&be, or will a gp appointment suffice?

HelloI am Dr.Amita and I would be glad to assist you with your concern today.This may indicate a ruptured ear drum and this should be seen at ER as this may lead to hearing loss or an infection in the ear if not treated in time.Most ruptured eardrums heal by themselves but it would be safer to have a doctor look at it in ER.Please reply if you need any further assistance.
