Hi and thanks for query,There can be many reasons for such swelling, including allergies, infection either in lip or underlying tooth, any trauma can cause swelling, insect bite is another cause. As far as it is not painful nothing to worry about. You should apply cold compresses and take any antihistamine tablet available over the counter it would decrease swelling.
