i have a problem with balance when walking, also if i get down to view an itme on a bottom shelf i can easily fall foreword due to lack of balance. is there any cure for this and if so kindly advise. regards delma *******

Hi and thanks f​or the query, you might have a problem with cerebellum, part of hind brain that controls balance, I would suggest you should get CT scan head to exactly diagnose the condition and get it reviewed by neurologist so that it can be treated accordingly. More likely at your age, this is something called orthostatic hypotension.This is generally due to medications.I would ask your doctor if you blood pressure pills can be adjusted.Also, make sure that you stay well hydrated.That will help.

Orthostatic hypotension is due to change of posture from a sitting to a standing position, it does not cause balance problems while walking or bending down or leaning forward.Best wishes.
