Thank you for your question, if there is redness, pain and tenderness along with fever then this is cellulitis of the legs and needs ASAP antibiotic treatment. IF there are no such signs then you need a workup for heart, liver and kidney issues, this will include ECG, echocardiogram, Liver and kidney function tests.. Let me know if you have questions.
