I've had a cold virus that I can't shift 10 years

Resolved Question:

I've had a cold virus that I can't shift for about 10 years (no exaggeration). I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of it but every time my body temp. drops after being active I develop a full brown cold. I suspect I have lower than normal blood pressure, could this be a cause.
