My daugter suffers with what doctors are calling 'infected

Customer Question

My daugter suffers with what doctors are calling 'infected eczema' on he face all around her mouth and up her cheeks, at its worst it looks like shes been burnt like something is eating away at her face, shes been on lots of medication since October, including fucibet, dermol, aveeno,qv, diprobas, hydrocortisone, acyclovir, dactacort, clarithromycin, flucloxacillin and many more as soon as the steroids stop and the antibiotics it comes straight back, she suffers temperatures on and off highest being 40 and has days where she won't drink much or eat and is very unsettled at times, she has had blood test to rule out allergies, any advice would be gratefully appreciated, thankyou

HelloI would have this biopsied for the lab.She might have resistant staph infecting this, which requires very specific antibiotics and correct prevention measures. It will also show if this is eczema for sure. The steroids help the eczema, but will promote the infection.I would ask about this balance. I have asked for a biopsy and have been refused, I don't know what route to go down next, please find attatched some pictures of the infection during the last 7 months, may I just add she contracted viral herpes infection a week prior to the eczema appearing and becoming infected, she was on iv for 4 days

OKI think it is infected eczema.I think what is going on is bacterial resistance. They should tailor any antibiotics to the lab results.I would also add other approaches which are beyond convention. For those see my premium services offer.Good luck.
