My wife and I are concerned about our 8.5yr old sons

Resolved Question:

Hello
My wife and I are concerned about our 8.5yr old sons Testicles which don't seem to have grown bigger or dropped. We visited our local GP a while back who said it wasn't anything to worry about as some boys develop earlier and some later than others. He did have a Ultra Sound scan at the time when he was 3yrs old but proved inconclusive because he was young and wriggling about.
What can you advise/suggest please?

HiThis can still be normal. He might not be going through puberty yet. There is an examination process called tanner staging.Go back to the GP and ask for another exam. Two exams and his age will correlate with normal v. abnormal development. OK, so you might have more questions or want to give me more information: Please use reply to expert if you have further questions.
