Customer Question

I have been suffering from pain above right hip and stomach rumbling a vibrating feeling for sometime Friday during the end of acupunture I started to get a pain right chest through armpit to right shoulder blade it is OK when I am still or sleeping but painful when I walk or move. Could it be a gallbladder problem I've ignored or more likely acpuncture has irritated nerves or muscles

Hi there,This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist. I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.Given that no symptoms with food, gallbladder problem unlikely.Nerve irritation is most likely explanation given the radiation and movement related symptoms. You can try ibuprofen for pain control.Better to see your doctor also.Best wishes,It was my pleasure to help you today. If I have answered all your questions, Please rate my response Excellent (click on the 5th star). Please bookmark my profile for fast, reliable and authentic answers! This is the link to my profile:http://www.justanswer.com/medical/expert-mysticdoc/

I am wondering about pain in right hip and stomach rumbling hence gallbladder
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 1 year ago.
That is right lower abdomen --more likely intestinal overactivity.Gallbladder related pain is felt at right upper abdomen.

I do have a spinal condition as well? central cord syndrome
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 1 year ago.
Cancer will not cause just rumbling.Weight loss, severe anemia, change in bowel habits will be more worrying symptoms.Rumbling is due to the gas formation and excessive intestinal movement.Spinal cord problem can affect intestinal movement.Best wishes

That type of weight loss is not concerning since you can gain back.Since spinal cord injury caused constipation that is also not concerning.Best wishes
