I have read on a LDN forum that LDN would wipe out my hydrocortisone and fludrocortisone which means(I think) my kidneys would not receive hormones from my medication because the removal of me adrenal glands , i think the amount of steroids is important I need advice and information please.Thank you

Why do you want to take ldn
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had a brain haemorrhage stroke 27 years ago which has left me with severe chronic nerve end pains ,spasticity arm and leg, neuropathy pains and muscle spasticity bladder etc on the whole right ha d side of my body I cannot use the drugs prescribed for pain because of side effects I belief that LDN may help my chronic pains. Thanks

OKThere re no interactions with your hormones.Particularly not at low dose. You need a physician monitoring both, just in case you need hormone adjustments, which is not likely.Do not do this on your own.We trained a group or two of functionalmedicine doctors from the UK a couple of years ago. They are trained in this.Call the institutewww.functionalmedicine.org for referrals. OK, so you might have more questions or want to give me more information: Please use reply to expert if you have further questions. When you are ready, please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent—that’s how we are paid, per rating]. If you forgot something, come back. OKit deals with disease mediatorsThe underlying causes of a disease environment. There are major categories of function that are measured with exam and labs/testingneurotransmittershormonesbiotoxicity and biotransformationcellular dynamics; oxidation/reduction, etc.structureimmunology/gut These are the main areas. The goal is to correct any dysfunction in these.Often disease disappears when these are corrected.
