Customer Question

I have had an infected fing finger of my left hand. I had two courses of flucloxacillin and although the infection seems to have cleared up it is still very inflamed around the nail, and the nail is lifting off the nail bed.
I now have an excruciating pain above this, just above the wrist. The aria is very slightly swollen, but there is no redness. The painful area is about the size of a ten pence piece. Could the finger infection have caused this, and is it anything to worry about.
I have had a triple heart bypass and a replacement aortic valve.
