This is Dr. David
if you are low in potassium or magnesium in your blood stream, you can have muscles spasms in areas close to prior surgery.
surgery can cut small nerves on the skin
and cause benign twitching fasciculations of small nerves and muscles close to the skin.
you can see your doctor and get blood test to check your potassium and magnesium blood levels
you can also try to drink more fluids and get more potassium in your diet
most people don't get enough potassium in their diet in a day
you need about 4600mg of potasssium a day in your diet.
