Hi and welcome.
First of all you need to avoid smoked, spicy food and avoid taking coffee and alcohol at bed time.
Take small frequent meals instead of one big meal.
Walk for at least 30 minutes after taking dinner.
Elevate head end of your bed by placing a block under it.
Use two pillows under head for sleeping.
Take any over the counter antacid.
Take tablet omeprazole 10 mg twice a day.
Take lots of fluids.
Let me know if you have further questions.

This is a different expert.
Long term reflux not corrected is an indication for a scope.
You MUST see a GI doctor.
Esophageal changes that can lead to cancer must be ruled out.
You might also be a candidate for surgery to stop the reflux.
