I have a strawberry allergy and worried how to wait to kiss

Customer Question

Hi I have a strawberry allergy and worried how long to wait to kiss my boyfriend when he has ate them.

Hello,

Actually 5 to 15 percent of adults with food allergies including strawberry allergy have experienced some symptoms after kissing.

It’s best to wait 1-3 hours and eat another meal before kissing.

Also brushing teeth or mouth rinse properly can be helpful to prevent any chance of allergy.

Hope this helps.

OK I also get quite paranoid about developing new allergys like nut allergy is my worst fear to develop
Expert:  Dr Anil Kumar replied 11 months ago.

It's your anxiety.

You shouldn't worry at all.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I am also quite paranoid about developing a nut allergy so I no longer eat them say if o inadvertently ate something with a nut in would that then make me allergic because I'm not eating them get very paranoid and worried about it don't want to have anaphylaxis and die
Expert:  Dr Anil Kumar replied 11 months ago.

You should avoid them if you can.

Your health is at first place.Don't force to eat nuts.

Just ignore it.

Hope this helps.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Ano but I mean I'm nt allergic to them but I have a phobia I used to eat them but now I don't because of my phobia is that OK and say in 10 years time I ate something with a nut in could that trigger off something then
Expert:  Dr Anil Kumar replied 11 months ago.

Yes,it is your anxiety.

Just ignore it and move on.

If you ate something with a nut then it would cause allergic reaction.
