I take hydrocortisone and throxine, have had pituitary tumor

Resolved Question:

I take hydrocortisone and throxine, have had pituitary tumor 26 years ago as 19yr old, I am struggling with side effects, could you recomend alternatives to thyroxine and hydrocortisone. I have heard ginsing and pigs thyroxine could be a good alternative.

Thyroxine is thyroid hormone

There are no side effects, but you might be on too much or too little.

Cortisone has side effects long term but if you need cortisol, any preparation is going to have this problem.

There is no side effect free preparation.
