I am an 82 year old woman and my migraines are getting worse

I am an 82 year old woman and my migraines are getting worse with dizziness and vertigo. Am I heading for a stroke

With the symptoms that you are having, I would recommend that you should have a MRI of the brain just to be sure it is normal.

Dizziness and vertigo can happen with a tiny stroke at the brainstem which is what I would like to consider and rule out.

I would recommend that you preferably be referred to a neurologist by your GP.

I cannot have an MRI scan as I have a pacemaker
