This is Dr. David

sorry you are having this dull ache in the lower abdomen.

is it right or left abdomen?

that is good you have seen your GP doctor.

that is good you are going to get an abdominal ultrasound

do you have problems with constipation or hard stools or small hard stools? these often can cause lower pelvic abdominal pain.

you should get a stool occult blood test of your stool for microscopic blood. did you have that test?

is the dull ache closer to the skin or keep down in your lower pelvis?

inflammation or infection of your prostate gland sometimes can cause a dull ache lower in your pelvis.

scar tissue in your abdomen can sometimes cause dull ache abdominal pains.

let me know if you have questions.

The ache is central above pelvic bone and below rib cage, with a slight heavy feeling,no constipation nor hard stools no other tests as yet, eating okay,no sweats, weakness, tiredness.

it could be an early abdominal hernia possibly in the anterior abdominal wall

this can be seen by ultrasound.
