My wife has an aching pain in stomach and lower body. Not a sharp pain. She has been diagnosed with atrial fibrillations, taking Amiodarone and Warfarin. Pain & discomfort started at 11.45am today(Wed 11Aug). She is currently drinking water and tea but not eating. Blood pressure at Noon 164/96, pulse 70. At 2pm 167/91, pulse 64. At 7.30pm 160/98, pulse 65. Patient is a 64yr old woman.

She needs an exam.

This can be a medication side effect.

Given her age, if this pain is that severe, ischemia is a possibility

There are other serious possibilities as well.

Take her for an exam at this time.

Ischemia is constriction and loss of blood supply in the small arteries in the abdomine.
