In my opinion you should undergo a blood sugar test to rule out diabetes.
In people with diabetes sores don't heal well.
If you have a history of unprotected sex you should get investigations to rule out sexually transmitted infections as well.
CBC,ESR,Urine Complete Examination,VDRL,HIV etc.
You may visit a GUM(Genito-Urinary Medicine)clinic for further diagnosis and management.

Thrush is a yeast infection caused by a fungus called Candida albicans. Both men and women can get thrush.In men, it usually affects the head of the penis – causing irritation, discharge and redness.
For thrush on penis clotrimazole cream can be helpful.
Lotrimin Cream 1% or Canesten ointment are available OTC.
