Customer Question

HiWe are going on vacation soon, taking a cruise from Dubai - Hong Kong with stops in UAE, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Sanya (China) and Hong Kong.My questions is about vaccines. We are two adults and three children (9 years, 3 years and 1 year). We want to take all necessary vaccines but avoid any that might not be necessary for our trip. We will be visiting tourist areas in most ports but will not be travelling off the beaten track.Which vaccines are necessary for us? Are there any greater risks for the children having these vaccines?ThanksMark.

Following vaccines are recommended:

Hepatitis B -- if not taken already

Typhoid

Cholera

Make sure that you are up to date with your routine vaccines as well:

These vaccines include measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine, and your yearly flu shot.

Prophylaxis against malaria with medications like cholorquine or primaquine is also recommended.
